THE SOCIAL DILEMMA

Facebook, twitter, Google+ and many more social networking sites have become the favorite medium of expression amongst our youth, we cry our problems, announce our happiness all on these social sites. I myself find it easier to propose to my crush on Facebook, but the point is whether this ease is good or not, and to what I have experienced it is superfluous. A face to face interaction is much powerful form of expression of any of our feelings rather than a Facebook expression, one gets a much more prominent response when it is a tangible expression rather than a digital one. Because of an addiction to these mediums we also limit our friend circles, hard to believe but that is the truth and I can prove it to you. Imagine you are at the airport waiting for a boarding call, you will be surrounded by real, beautiful and vivid personalities but what you do is turn on the Wi-Fi, log on to some social site and either update yourself with a feed of a person or chat to your old friend, end of story. My point is not that social networking is bad, no it is good but we should not restrict to it as our medium of expression, we should have tangible expressions imagine what would a speech of even the best of debaters look like in only text, without the aura of their voice and the charm of their facial expression and the feelings their personality inspires in the audience. So be a sport, make social networking a part of your life rather than being a part of social life.

It is usually said that Pakistan is a failed state and is about to go down. Let me insure3 you that these are all false talks. Pakistan although going through a tough period can never fall apart as it is kept intact by the binding influence of the blood of infinite martyrs. It withstood the test of time in 1970 and also in 1998 and so can it now. Even the storms are afraid of coming on this land as it is guarded by Allah's angels.

It is a general observation that many people want to live a prosperous life in a stable country outside Pakistan. Whats the adventure in living a calm life why not create a life of peace for ourselves on this piece of land which we snatched from the British on the cost of our blood.
